FOOT HEALTH IS ONE OF LIFES ESSENTIAL'S Every Year National Feet Week asks everyone to make time for personal foot health. After all, if you had trouble with your sight you would call an optician, if you had a toothache you would call your dentist, but what about your feet? Would you call a podiatrist? Often people ignore their feet, common foot complaints, even serious pain, when they ought to be seeking help. Podiatry is a medical treatment, your local Podiatrists are there to offer advise and to help treat an array of foot conditions, minor issues can usually be resolved quickly, before they become major issues. It's also important to note, that problems with the feet can sometimes be an indication of other health issues, so don't ignore your feet... especially in feet week! Your feet are just as important to take care of as your eyes and teeth. So put aside some time for you and your loved ones, and make National Feet Week your priority - be kind to your feet, after all they take you everywhere you need to go! At Ochils Podiatry we're keen to encourage you all to check your feet and book in for a foot health examination. Call us now, to book an appointment, we're here to help. COVID-19
By heather Watson-Ross 01 Jul, 2020
I am here to help... With restricted services during lockdown many treatments have been postponed. We are now able to treat red, amber, and green category patients. To ensure the safety and the risk of COVID transmission, we are obliged to adhere to the guidelines set out for keeping our patients and the Podiatrist safe. All patients are required to be triaged and screened for COVID-19 symptoms before an appointment can be made. If you are struggling to maintain your nails or have problematic toes due to toe deformities, such as retracted or hammer toes, painful corns, hard callous, painful feet and infected ingrown toenails, please contact the clinic if you wish to make a booking or a telephone consultation if you are shielding. Please see our Covid-19 page for further details.
